Family, Fun and Friends Forever

One of our favorite stories to photograph are the ones where the couple are longtime, childhood sweethearts. Sabrina & Mark definitely fit that category. Through all of life's ups-and-downs, there two have remained true to one another and created a beautiful family.

Goodbye Graduation! Hello Higher Learning!

I have captured so many of this young lady's milestones, I have virtually become a member of the family! On this occasion, Sereyla graduated from high school! To commenorate this situation, we had a photo session that highlighted the importance of family. I look forward to what her future has in store. Congrats Sereyla!

Merry Christmas baby Andrey!

We were so fortunate to photograph so many babies in 2014! And we feel especially fortunate when it's the baby of dear friends. Right before Thanksgiving, we had the opportunity to photograph our friends Daniel & Paula's incredibly sweet son Andrey! We've seen his parents relationship go from dating to engagement to marriage, so seeing… Continue reading Merry Christmas baby Andrey!

Mahiteme family autumn portraits

Autumn is my absolute favorite time for outdoor photo sessions! Golden hour seems to last all day and the crisp bite in the air brings forth thoughts of hayrides and hot apple cider. On this beautiful autumn afternoon, the Mahiteme family met us at Lenora Park for their annual family portraits. The weather could not… Continue reading Mahiteme family autumn portraits

Phifer family photos: Why use JCP when you have VNC?

The circumstances at which I came to photograph the Phifer family photos is not too uncommon. Originally, Kelli had an early afternoon appointment for her family photos at her local JCP. However, after poor scheduling on the photo studio's part (How are you going to postpone someone's appointment by FOUR hours?!?), Kelli was a bit… Continue reading Phifer family photos: Why use JCP when you have VNC?

The Issac Family’s Unbreakable Family Bond

Although a lot of our images are weddings and engagements, those unions typically lead to having a family, and Shana has a fun one. One thing I was reminded of during the photo session: little boys LOVE Spiderman! After spending hours running around Piedmont Park, we were a bit winded, but the photos showed their… Continue reading The Issac Family’s Unbreakable Family Bond

Trenton meets Marietta

One of the most fulfilling moments in a couple's life is when they become parents and I had the honor of photographing Tiffany & Joseph as they prepared for the arrival of baby Trenton. On a brisk December day, we met in Marietta Square to give the first-time parents a chance to photograph Trenton's debut.… Continue reading Trenton meets Marietta

The Peterson’s New Arrival!

Joel & I have had the pleasure of documenting many of Julie & Maurice's intimate family moments: engagement, marriage and now the birth of a new baby! As Julie, Maurice and little Destinee prepared for little Maurice Jr. to make his appearance, we went to the park BEFORE the 100+ degree temps to grab some… Continue reading The Peterson’s New Arrival!
