Every year, Patty Green holds an annual cake competition for charity. The “Holiday Cake Affair” Cake and Dessert Competition displays extraordinary cakes and desserts from pastry chefs and cake artisans from all over the southeast. Renowned pastry professionals judge cakes as bakers have a chance to expose their skills for business opportunities and for fun!
At the end of the competition, all the guests are able to sample the cakes (yum!) and the remaining food is donated to local shelters and charities. The chosen charity for 2010 was My Sister’s House!
