Sometimes, when you meet a client for the first time, you immediately know it’s kismet. Macy & Javier are definitely that couple!
Upon our first meeting with Macy & her awesome mom Tana, we embraced our shared nerdiness. The first thing I said during our introduction on the 4th of May was “May the fourth be with you” followed seamlessly by Joel’s “Let’s hope tomorrow won’t be revenge of the 5th (Sith)”. The smiles that came across their faces was truly genuine and we later learned it was the reason they chose us to capture Macy & Javier’s big day!
During our meeting we fell more in love with Macy’s story as we learned the beautiful chapel where they planned to marry was originally along a small town street in Smithville, GA where she & her late, yet beloved, grandfather frequently went for ice cream during her formative years. In what was another act of kismet, the owner of the chapel was kind enough to open her property for their wedding once she learned through the grapevine of Macy’s emotional connection to the building. It was definitely divine intervention.
We also made sure to help the couple make the wedding their own by providing their ring bearer: a Gundam action figure attached to our drone! It was a surprise for the groom that blew him away (and he still has the figure on their mantel)! Like we say, VNC Photography will always try to make the client’s vision a reality.
