Every year, Joel & I get into the holiday spirit as we join to Santa and his elves for the annual East Atlanta Village SantaFest at Joe’s East Atlanta! Over the course of 2 days, we photograph the residents of EAV telling Santa whether they’ve been naughty or nice, all while donating proceeds to Neighbor In Need East Atlanta and the East Atlanta Kids Club. We even got a visit this year from Atlanta’s own Santa United!
It’s so great to work with our friends-turned-family year after year, but it’s a true joy to see the families of East Atlanta grow over the years, all while giving back to the community (this year, we raised almost $2,000 over two days)! Plus, we always get a chuckle seeing crying babies mature into believing toddlers and – eventually – cynical teenagers! We can hardly wait until next year!
